How AI is used

WORLD PULSE may use AI-assisted tools to organise source material, prepare draft text, suggest headlines, create metadata, assist with production tasks or support other newsroom workflows.

AI is not a source

AI output is treated as draft material. It is not accepted as an independent source of truth, and the publishing workflow is designed to require source-backed material and checks before an article can be published.

Editorial safeguards

Our publishing workflow uses automated checks for minimum length, structure, source material, source attribution and excessive textual overlap. Articles that fail required checks are held for further review rather than being published through the automated path.

Human responsibility

WORLD PULSE remains responsible for the editorial material it publishes. Automated checks are safeguards, not a guarantee that an article is error-free, original in a legal sense or suitable for every reader.

Accuracy and attribution

We aim to preserve important names, places, dates, actions and distinctions from reliable source material while avoiding unsupported claims, invented quotations and fabricated facts. Where coverage is based on an external report, the relevant source is identified and linked where appropriate.

Transparency and updates

The use of AI does not lower our standards for accuracy, fairness, attribution or corrections. We may update this policy as our technology and editorial processes develop.
