Accuracy and verification

We aim to verify material facts against reliable source material before publication. We distinguish confirmed information from claims, allegations, estimates, analysis and opinion.

Source attribution

When a story is based on an external report, announcement or other source, we aim to identify the source and provide a link to the original report where appropriate. Attribution does not by itself establish that every claim in a source is independently verified.

Fairness and context

We seek to present relevant context and avoid misleading omissions. Where a material dispute is important to understanding a story, we identify the disagreement and attribute competing claims rather than presenting an allegation as an established fact.

Editorial independence

WORLD PULSE is an independent online publication. Editorial decisions are not made on behalf of governments, political parties, campaigns, advertisers or commercial partners.

Headlines and presentation

Headlines, excerpts and social descriptions should accurately reflect the underlying article. We avoid deliberately misleading clickbait and do not knowingly invent quotations, statistics, people, events or other material facts.

AI-assisted production

AI-assisted tools may be used for research organisation, drafting, metadata or other production tasks. AI output is treated as draft material rather than an independent source of truth. Our AI Editorial Policy explains the safeguards used in the publishing workflow.

Corrections

When we identify a material factual error, we aim to correct it promptly. Depending on the nature of the error, a correction may be noted within the article or otherwise made transparent to readers. Correction requests can be submitted through our Corrections page.
